The past few days have been a roller coaster of emotions. Not only did I discover that what my mom was sick with wasn’t what I thought it was, I got the amazing news that she was 100% clear of it Friday and my teacher told me to skip the rest of the school day to spend time with my mom. A few friends and I bought my mom roses and a card and we surprised her with them and lunch at New China. She was overjoyed to see us and be able to celebrate her good news instead of having to wait for us to return home from school. Along with the news from my mom, my friends and I had a bonfire together and I dyed my hair (successfully) with the help of a great friend of mine who I’m so happy to have back in my life. (I am now a red head instead of a blonde!) Can’t wait to see if the road trip for Sunday will be successful or a total bust.
